05/11/2005     BUCKS COUNTY CONFERENCE & VISITORS BUREAU WELCOMES NEW ADDITION TO STAFF

Bucks County, PA – The Bucks County Conference & Visitors Bureau, Inc. (BCCVB), the official tourism promotion agency for Bucks County, announces the recent fulfillment of a key position. Lauren Tosti has been hired as Public Relations Coordinator.

 

“We’re very excited to welcome Lauren to our organization,” said Keith Toler, Executive Director of the BCCVB. “She brings great enthusiasm to the Conference & Visitors Bureau. Our goal is to increase visitation to Bucks County, and I am confident Lauren will be successful in helping to attain this goal.”

Lauren Tosti, a resident of Bucks County, comes to the BCCVB from The Edcomm Group, where she worked as Director of Public Relations. There, she successfully spearheaded Edcomm's public relations efforts and oversaw all external communication, including press releases, print articles, web presence, media appearances, and community outreach efforts. She worked closely with Edcomm's Marketing Team on the promotion of Edcomm's branding and image.

Lauren is a member of the Public Relations Society of America. Her previous experience includes work with Neshaminy School District, the American Diabetes Association, and Delaware Valley Medical Center. Lauren has a BA in Public Relations from Temple University's School of Communications, and is currently earning her MA in Professional Communication at La Salle University. As Public Relations Manager for the BCCVB, Lauren will work with the media to promote Bucks County as a tourism destination.

 

The mission of the Bucks County Conference & Visitors Bureau, Inc. is to increase visitation to Bucks County by effectively marketing its heritage, accommodations and attractions. The Visitor Center is open seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. It is easily accessible from the Pennsylvania Turnpike, Route 1 and Interstate 95.
