BUCKS COUNTY, PA – Gateway to Bucks County, a showcase of over 50 exhibitors will be held on June 23, 2005, 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Bucks County Visitor Center, 3207 Street Road, Bensalem, Pennsylvania. Organized by the Bucks County Conference & Visitors Bureau, Inc. (BCCVB), the 8th annual event spotlights Bucks County’s top facilities, caterers, entertainers and vendors offering services for meetings, corporate retreats, reunions, family picnics, military events and weddings. Over 500 guests—including event planners, travel agents, brides-to-be, business professionals, Bucks County Commissioners as well as state and local legislators—are expected for the invitation only event.
“Gateway provides decision makers from New York City, Washington, D.C., Baltimore and throughout the region, with a fun evening filled with the tastes, sights and sounds of Bucks County’s many unique venues and services, all under one roof,” said David Jackson, Corporate Sales Manager for the BCCVB. “This is the second year that we’ve had the honor of hosting the event at the Bucks County Visitor Center, right next door to the Philadelphia Park Racetrack.”
Keith Toler, Executive Director of the BCCVB adds: “Bucks County consists of over 600 square miles, so we plan to make the 2005 Gateway event even more convenient and informative for out-of-town meeting planners by arranging the exhibitors within three distinct regions: Heritage Region, Cultural Region and Lakes Region. Guests will feel like they are strolling through the County, while participants will have the opportunity to easily network with their regional neighbors.”
Among the many participants are Sesame PlaceÒ, Peddler’s Village, Bucks County Wine Trail Ltd., Radisson Hotel Philadelphia Northeast, Bucks County Historical Society (Mercer Museum and Fonthill), Benevento Biscotti, Healthy Beverage Company (Steaz Green Tea Soda), ACE Center, Pen Ryn Mansion on the Delaware and Hampton Inn Philadelphia Northeast. Food and beverage will be available for sampling from many of the exhibitors. The Mango Men will perform an energizing blend of Jimmy Buffett, rock and contemporary country music, and singer/songwriter Sally Morgan will be at the piano demonstrating her wide repertoire.
Gateway to Bucks County is sponsored by the Bucks County Conference & Visitors Bureau, Inc., eRSVP, Mid-Atlantic Events Magazine, Open Aire Affairs and the Radisson Hotel Philadelphia Northeast. Entertainment is provided by Eventive Productions.
