BCCVB Advertising Opportunities...
Dear BCCVB member,
As a member of the Bucks County Conference and
Visitors Bureau, you are able to promote your products and services to
visitors, group tour operators and meeting planners when you partner with
us in one of the BCCVB cooperative advertising programs.
To help guide you through our marketing
opportunities, attached is our 2003-2004 Cooperative Advertising Chart to
use as a quick reference. In addition, we have attached a copy of our new
advertising contract with detailed descriptions of the many marketing
opportunities. Also, be sure to look out for other cooperative
opportunities that may arise throughout the year regarding our new Bucks
County Bridal Showcase.
It would be my pleasure to meet with you at our new
Visitor Center and discuss your marketing plans. And, while you are there,
come take a tour, see the new orientation film and meet the information
specialists who speak daily with people interested in Bucks County.
I look forward to assisting you with your marketing
plans for 2003/2004! Please call me at 215-860-3090 if you have any
questions or to schedule an appointment.
Best regards,
Lisa Kruse

On the PR Front ...
As the weather warms up (and hopefully the rain will
eventually stop) interest in Bucks County is on the increase. We will be
hosting a group of journalists from the United Kingdom during the month of
June. As the summer months continue, we will be hosting other press
events.
The BCCVB is happy to congratulate one of its own. David
Jackson has been nominated as "Supplier of the Year" for the Philadelphia
Chapter of Meeting Professionals International. He will also be the Master of
Ceremonies for the Silver Anniversary of the Annual Awards Gala on June 18 in
Philadelphia. Look for more information on David's achievements on the BCCVB's
Web site.
Something else for which to keep your eyes peeled is the
arrival of the Jeanie Johnston. The Jeanie Johnston is an Irish emigrant ship
that will be docked at the Bristol waterfront for four days in late June. The
docking will coincide with the Bristol Celtic Festival.
With Fourth of July celebrations sneaking up on everyone,
please send any events, specials, packages, etc., that you are offering to
[email protected] to be included in the
Independence Day press release. The release will go out to the local media and
will highlight as many celebrations that will be going on in the county as
possible.
