Morning
|
Begin this enchanted day by visiting Andalusia, the country estate of the Craig and Biddle families for more than 200 years. The centerpiece is the Greek Revival house with its monumental columned porch, one of the finest surviving examples of this architecture. The "Big House", as it is known, is furnished in a variety of American period styles. The estate grounds also feature a Billiard Room, a Gothic Grotto, the Cottage and a formal garden. The 100-acre estate is buffered by natural woodland preserving its seclusion in an area which saw intense development during the 20th century. (2 hours)
