Before or after you vote, visit this timely exhibit featuring rare posters, buttons, ribbons and other printed media from campaigns past. The show explores common themes, symbols and images used to promote presidential candidates from early 1800s through the twentieth century. Developed, researched and designed entirely by area high school students, the exhibit is presented in collaboration with Kids Voting Southeast Pennsylvania, a national nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to educating and engaging young people in the electoral process, and increasing civic awareness.

The American Revolution was as much a civil war as it was a fight against British rule. The Doan outlaws of Bucks County opposed the American side by helping British prisoners of war to escape and by robbing tax collectors and militia payrolls. This talk, presented by Librarian Emeritus Terry McNealy, will detail some episodes in their decade-long career.
