Along the way, children will encounter a curious collection of creatures – owl-shaped andirons, rocking horses, pottery dogs, rabbit chocolate molds, an alligator hand puppet, and many more. Leonard W. Miller of Washington Crossing broke the color line in auto racing and has scripted a fast-paced history to tell the tale. Miller will share his experiences, captured in the new autobiography, Silent Thunder: Breaking Through Cultural, Racial and Class Barriers in Motorsports. Children may enjoy making a wooden toy car to remember the role played by this Bucks County resident in American sports car history.
