Harry Leith-Ross (1886-1973) was one of the most prolific Pennsylvania Impressionist artists. He moved to Bucks County in 1935. Leith-Ross became renowned for his transparent watercolor technique in the tradition of 18th century painters, along with his vibrant, carefully composed oil paintings. Organized by the Michener Art Museum, this retrospective exhibition of Leith-Ross includes a oil paintings, watercolors and exquisite drawings. This exhibit is an expanded version of the exhibit that was Doylestown.

Al Jolson singing “Blue Skies” in The Jazz Singer; Bing Crosby crooning “White Christmas. These iconic images from Hollywood all sprang from Irving Berlin. For six decades Berlin wrote songs and scores for 20 films. This exhibition illustrates Berlin’s relationship with Hollywood, and the evolution of the film musical. The show includes an audio-visual component that allows visitors to hear and see his work as originally intended; it also features photographs, set and costume designs, drawings and caricatures, models, scrapbooks, posters and album covers.

To celebrate the expansion of the Korean art program and the 10th anniversary of the Korean Heritage Weekend, the Museum will present this exhibition of approximately 50 works, most of which have been collected since 1997.  Accompanied by a bilingual (English and Korean) brochure.  Screen paintings, hanging scrolls, furniture, ceramics and more.  Highlights include an exquisite group of Koryo dynasty (918-1392) and Choson dynasty (1392-1910) ceramics from the collection of Colonel Stephen McCormick, who donated more than 100 Korean works of art to the museum.

Todd Stone was a 9/11 witness, who spent that tragic day drawing and photographing.  He turned his terror and grief into a series of watercolors that record the events of 9/11 as only an eyewitness could. This exhibition features a selection of these powerful images, which have also been exhibited at the New York Historical Society and the Florence Biennale, Italy. Stone is a resident of Bucks County.
