Join Henry Mercer’s favorite dog, Rollo, on a hands-on, interactive adventure in search of “escaped” animal artifacts from the museum’s collection. Along the way, children will encounter a curious collection of creatures – owl-shaped andirons, rocking horses, pottery dogs, rabbit chocolate molds, an alligator hand puppet, and many more. Designed especially for children ages 3 to 8.

Beginning in 1988, Michael Kenna photographed the Nazi concentration and extermination camps. His goal was to convey what he himself found impossible to forget about the camps: the inexpressible suffering of the victims that can only be hinted at by the haunting emptiness of the camps. These 88 images resonate a greater truth that challenges our collective conscience to avoid repeating this dark and sinister part of human history.

The James A. Join us for this wonderful Glen Foerd tradition featuring music, dancing, folklore, and food to delight the whole family. Celtic Crossroads, a band of singer-musicians, will return to the Mansion to perform traditional Irish music, bringing their own special flavor to every ballad, reel, and chorus. The children from the Coyle School of Dancing will also be returning to perform light jigs and soft shoe reels in traditional Irish Garb. “Light fare” will be served and a cash bar will be available. All reservations must be prepaid by March 4th. Methods of payment include cash, check, or credit card. Tickets will not be available at the door.
